Give me a revelation
It still amazes me how in those times God is always there with His loving arms and He knows what He's doing - and even though the storm is still raging inside - He sends little things through other people to help us along the way.
Today was one of those days for me - God knew I needed something! He's so smart - guess that's why He's God! As I was sitting at work this morning I remembered a video clip that one of my aunt's had sent me - it was of a Third Day song called Revelation. Have you ever heard it -- well the start of the chorus of the song says "Give me a revelation Show me what to do Cause I've been trying to find my way and I haven't got a clue"
That song is so me right now! So it's then that I know above everything else I'm walking THROUGH this storm and I know that God is going to be there to "Give Me a Revelation!"
Is there something that you need Christ to "Give You A Revelation about?"

GUEST BLOG --- Bunt?
In baseball I have saw games where there was a player at bat who was capable of hitting a homerun. But the coach would give them a signal or tell them to bunt. You see on sports programs or in sport pages it is the homerun hitters or the players hitting triples or doubles, etc. that is talked about. But how long has it been since you watched tv and heard the announcer talk about a player who bunted the ball?
You see, when you bunt the ball in baseball it is great if you can do it and get yourself on base. But, for the most part it is not all about you or your goals you are trying to achieve. But, it is for the benefit of the team. It is you surrendering what you may want or feel you can accomplish on your own for the interest or the best for the team.
In Jeremiah 7:26 the word says about the people that they would not harkin to him, nor incline their ear, they had harden their neck. Then verse 27 says, therefore they shall speak all these words unto them; but they will not harken to thee: thy shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer them.
Say what? Wait! you mean I speak they want hear? I call and they want answer? Wouldn't it be good to have something to show for what I have done? or something that will have people bragging about me and my results because I feel that I am capable of doing really good.
But no, it is not about us. But it is about in natural speaking, it is about the team.
As Jesus said it best, not my will but what you wilt as he was speaking to the father. You see it is a place of surrender that God is calling us to that we surrender our own agenda for the good of the family or team. So listen he maybe calling you to bunt. There may not be any appalause or fan fare, but in simple obedience you go do it for the King, for the team. So don't be discouraged when you are called on to bunt because God is just as proud of you as the long ball hitters. Because, it is the obedience he loves cause you are doing it for the team or greater yet for the kingdom of God.

Oh How I Love Jesus
I remember singing this precious little song as I child and doing the motions to it and loving to sing that song, but not really knowing the full meaning. Now I listen to this song or sing this song and I think of how much I love Him because Oh How Much He loves me! Just like the song by John Mark McMillen “How He Loves” -- it says Oh How He Loves Us so – when I think about the words to those two songs my mind goes to one of the most powerful scriptures in the Bible to me. How He loves – Oh how and why I love Jesus. Such a simple message but such a powerful word John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:17 goes on to say “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” Oh How He Loves Us – He laid down His life for us – before we were born – while we were yet sinners – Christ died for us!
Oh How I love Jesus – Oh How I love Jesus – Oh How I love Jesus – because He first loved me – He laid down His life for me. This week is Passion Week for the Christian world – yesterday symbolized the day we call “Palm Sunday” when Jesus made His entry into the city on a colt and a parade was given for Him calling Him Hosanna and waving palm branches at Him – by the end of this week – Jesus will have been betrayed by Judas – and He will be beaten and bruised and then He will lay down His life for us – and in 3 days rise again victorious over death, hell, and the grave.
As we go through this week, this “Passion Week” – let us not forget – that Christ – Oh How He loves us – He laid down His life for us! What are we going to do for Him?
Let's Celebrate the Risen Savior!

I GOT CONFIDENCE
I can't tell the night from day
I toss from side to side
Like a ship on a raging tide
I don't worry and I don't fret
God has never failed me yet
Troubles comin' from time to time
But that's all right, 'causeI'm not the worrying kind
Because I, I've got confidence,
God is gonna see me through
No matter what the case may beI know
He's gonna fix it for me
This is powerful song of how God is going to see us through.
So many times we get caught up on our problems and
we can't see past our troubles. But if we remember that God has everything
in control. He will see us through. Why should we worry and why should be fret because
God is going to see us through. We just have to keep the faith and trust God that
he is able and he will never fail us.
We can rely fully on the confidence that comes from Christ if we just allow Him to be that
confidence for us. We are the ones who struggle with it, Not Him, He is in control, He has a plan.
Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6
BE CONFIDENT IN GOD!
Have a Blessed Weekend
